Electro funk | BA-1 Expansion Pack is a preset collection of 64 sounds for the BA-1 synth by Baby Audio, built around electro, disco and synth-funk styles. It requires BA-1 to run.
This expansion pack adds 64 presets to BA-1, the synth from Baby Audio. The sounds draw on the electro, disco and synth-funk styles of the late 1970s and 1980s. Christian Laffitte created the collection, which the developer describes as full of retro character. The set covers basslines, leads, electric pianos and pads, so producers working in those genres have a ready starting point inside BA-1.
The pack focuses on rubbery basslines, bright lead sounds, warm electric pianos and brassy pads. Baby Audio describes the leads as having a Daft Punk-like character, and the electric pianos as woozy in tone.
All 64 presets are designed for BA-1, so they use the synth's own engine and controls. Each preset can serve as a starting point for shaping your own sound.
The pack suits producers making dance, electro, disco or funk-influenced tracks who want retro, analog-flavored tones. It is a preset collection rather than a standalone instrument, so it needs BA-1 by Baby Audio installed before you can use it.
If you already own BA-1 and want a quick route into vintage synth-funk sounds, this expansion adds a large set of ready-made patches in one package.
