Summer of Love | BA-1 Expansion Pack is a preset collection of 68 synth patches for Baby Audio's BA-1 synthesizer. It focuses on early 1990s rave-style leads and basslines.
This expansion pack is built around the synth sounds of early 1990s rave culture, which the developer, Myagi, ties to the second Summer of Love. The presets are designed for BA-1 and cover the bright, energetic textures associated with that era. Producers working in dance, trance and house can use the collection as a starting point for anthem-style leads and squelchy basslines. Because it requires BA-1, it works as an add-on for owners of that synth.
Myagi describes the collection as a nostalgic tribute to one of the most influential moments in music culture. The developer says it shaped a new generation of dance, trance and house artists, and the presets aim to capture that period's sound.
The pack contains 68 presets made for BA-1. The sounds lean toward over-the-top leads and squelchy basslines, which suit big, stadium-style dance arrangements.
This pack suits producers who already own BA-1 and want retro rave, trance or house sounds without building patches from scratch. It is a preset library rather than a standalone instrument, so it depends on BA-1 to run.
The sounds are best matched to projects that call for nostalgic, high-energy synth parts in the style of early 1990s dance music.
