It contains 70 presets spread across arpeggios, basses, leads, pads, plucks, drum sounds and textures, with modulation assigned to the modwheel on every patch. Sound Design and Character

The pack leans on DUNE's modulation system to build its patches. The developer says the presets pair intricate pads and complex arpeggios with classic trance sounds.

The library includes several bass styles, which the developer describes as aggressive, smooth and sharp, along with ethereal pads and large trance leads. These cover the main melodic and harmonic roles in a trance arrangement.

Because the presets are built around modulation, they can be a useful reference for how DUNE's modulation routing can be used in practice.

Presets, Workflow and Modwheel Control

Tundra Vol.1 for Dune 1 contains 70 presets in total: 24 arps, 22 basses, 24 leads, 20 pads, 18 plucks, 7 drums and 5 textures. Every preset has modwheel assignments, so the modwheel can be used as a performance control across the whole pack.

The pack includes 128 patch slots for DUNE, so you can load and audition the sounds directly inside the synth without any additional host.

The pack needs a full copy of Synapse Audio DUNE v1, so check your DUNE version before buying.
