01Overview

AZS Transitions Vol. 2 for Diva is the second bank of presets made with Aiyn Zahev Sounds and Resonance Sound for u-He Diva. The presets draw on classic analog sounds associated with progressive house, trance and electronic music in general. The developer says the patches are designed to sit well in a mix and to give producers quick starting points for new tracks. Because the bank is built for Diva, it suits producers already working with that synth.

Sound Character and Synthesis Tools

Resonance Sound says Diva remains one of the most analog-sounding soft synths available, and this bank moves it in a more digital direction. Many presets use classic digital super-saw oscillators together with the filter model the developer describes as buttery smooth, both of which appear throughout the bank.

The 150 presets cover a broad range of styles. The developer lists haunting, film-score-style pads and atmospheres, deep raw basses, 80s pop and trance-style basses, a variety of sequences, and large super-saw leads and plucks.

Presets, Controls and Requirements

Each of the 150 presets is supplied in the .h2p format used by Diva. The presets include modwheel and velocity assignments, so the modulation wheel and keyboard velocity can affect the sound without manual setup.

The bank requires Diva, and the system requirements listed are u-He Diva v1.3.1 or higher. A trial is available for those who want to test the presets before deciding.
