01Overview

Vocalise 3 is Heavyocity's vocal library for film and game composers who want expressive voice in their scores. It follows Vocalise and Vocalise 2 and expands the collection with new syllables, vowel material and playable controls. The library covers organic melodic phrases, single and moving vowels, breathy loops, whispers and atmospheric drones, all recorded at Heavyocity's New York studio and processed by its sound design team into an instrument built for cues that need emotional texture.

Vocal Sound Sources and Phrases

The library contains 2,033 sound sources, including 384 tempo-synced melodic phrases in four keys, both major and minor. These phrases can be tuned to the key of your score.

There are also 36 tempo-synced multi-sampled syllabic pedals, 576 tempo-synced intervals across 24 mapped presets, 16 dynamic and moving vowels, and 184 vocal scapes and drones. Single and moving vowels are multi-sampled across the singing range, which allows combinations that are rich in timbre and can build chordal textures when modulated.

Rhythmic and breathy loop performances can be used on their own to add moving vocal elements or layered to create unique textures.

Motion Control and Playability

Vocalise 3 includes 190 NKIs and more than 300 motion presets (NKAs). The Motion page lets you build advanced volume, pitch and pan patterns, so sustained vocal sounds can move within a mix.

Playable Trigger FX provide real-time control for performance. The library is available as Standalone, VST, AU and AAX, and requires Kontakt to run.
