VENTO Essentials: Woodwind Ensemble and Loops by Heavyocity

The Traditional preset gives access to a 12-piece woodwind ensemble across seven sections: flutes, oboes, clarinets, contrabass clarinet, bassoon and contrabassoon. Six articulations are included: long sustain, staccato, crescendo, subtle pulses, random vibrato and cluster crescendo.

Each articulation is recorded with mix, close, room and hall sources, giving you control over how dry or spacious the ensemble sounds in your mix.

The Evolved content focuses on hybrid sound design. The Woodwind Designer contains a channel-based sound browser with 39 snapshots, and the Woodwind Loop Designer adds a loop browser with 12 snapshots. Both are built from the same woodwind sources, processed and layered into new textures.

The library also includes 36 straight loops in ambient, motif and rhythmic categories, each split into low, mid and high registers. A CYCLE page provides granular and rhythmic playback, and a MACRO knob adjusts several parameters at once.
