Sound Categories and Character
The instrument is organized into three categories. Manipulated patches are string samples processed through a range of effects modules, which the developer describes as unique, dramatic and cinematic. Their parameters have been fine-tuned to give the most characterful results.
Multi patches load several instances of Vektor Essentials at once, each with different sounds and parameter values. This produces a large, layered sound suited to broad, epic compositions.
The Organic collection contains the rawest stringed-instrument sounds. They include the well-known "Moanful Cello" patch alongside newly programmed String Toolkit patches, and are meant to add a natural quality to a track.
