Articulations and Playing Techniques in The Ronroco
The Ronroco includes 9 articulations, each with its own key switches. Long notes are recorded in round-robin with three dynamics per note, which helps repeated notes sound less mechanical. Staccato, pull-off, mordente and tremolo notes give you short and ornamented phrasing without leaving the instrument.
Chords and strokes are provided in many tonalities, so you can build progressions directly in the library. Southern Winds is a separate tool for realistic tremolos, and Rontoor is a sound produced by striking the strings with a metal wand, which adds a percussive texture.
