Usynth DUST Loyalty Upgrade from any UJAM product is aimed at existing UJAM owners who want to add DUST to their setup. DUST focuses on aged, dusty tones that start from acoustic and electric instrument sources. The sounds are then degraded, filtered and distorted into a lo-fi, liminal character. The plugin is built around a multi-synthesis engine with a sequencer, arpeggiator and multi-FX section.
DUST is built around worn, nostalgic tones. UJAM describes the sound as beyond-retro liminal and lo-fi, with tape hiss, soft imperfections and fragile, glowing soundscapes.
The patches are organized into categories including keys and chords, pads and textures, leads, basses, plucks and bells, vocals, and faux sampled sounds. The library includes 100 synthesizer patches and 100 global presets.
DUST uses a multi-synthesis engine, paired with a sequencer and arpeggiator for rhythmic patterns. A multi-FX section lets you shape the degraded character further.

Usynth DUST is available as VST3, VST2, AU and AAX plugins. The AU version is only compatible with Logic Pro X and newer.
You need Windows 10 or 11, or macOS Big Sur (11) or Tahoe (26), with 8GB of RAM and 0.4 GB of free disk space. A 1280x768 display and an internet connection are required, and authorization is done through the UJAM App.
