Tube-Tech Complete Collection 2 brings together Softube's licensed emulations of Tube-Tech hardware in one bundle. The set adds the SMC 2B Multiband Compressor as a new addition, along with updated versions of the CL 1B optical compressor and Classic Channel strip. Tube-Tech Equalizers Mk II round out the collection with Pultec-style tone shaping. The developer built the collection in partnership with Tube-Tech and includes legacy plugins for existing projects.

Compressors and Channel Strip in the Tube-Tech Bundle

The bundle includes the new SMC 2B Multiband Compressor, which Softube describes as an emulation of a three-band opto compressor. It is aimed at mix buses and vocal, drum and bass buses.

CL 1B Mk II combines the legacy CL 1B compressor with a rebuilt version of the processing. A Generation Switch lets you move between the Mk I and Mk II sound. The CL 1B Mk II adds side-chain low-cut filters and parallel blend.

Classic Channel Mk II pairs both CL 1B generations with PE 1C and ME 1B equalizers in one channel strip. It adds mid/side processing, which lets you treat the center and sides of a stereo signal separately.

Equalizers and Workflow Features

Tube-Tech Equalizers Mk II are Pultec-style equalizers intended for analog-style tone shaping on drums, synths, vocals, guitars, strings and bass. The collection includes the PE 1C and ME 1B in their legacy and updated forms.

CL 1B Mk II and Equalizers Mk II work both as native plugins and inside Console 1, according to the developer.
