Tube-Tech Complete Collection 2 is built for producers who want Tube-Tech hardware character inside their DAW. Softube developed it in partnership with Tube-Tech, and it includes the new SMC 2B multiband compressor, updated CL 1B Mk II and Classic Channel Mk II, and Tube-Tech Equalizers Mk II. Existing owners of Tube-Tech Classic Channel can also use the bundle as an upgrade path.

Compressors and Equalizers in One Tube-Tech Bundle

The CL 1B Mk II optical compressor brings the legacy CL 1B sound together with a reworked version built on newer signal processing. A Generation Switch lets you move between the Mk I and Mk II sounds while using the CL 1B Mk II and Classic Channel Mk II plug-ins.

The Classic Channel Mk II combines both generations of the CL 1B with the PE 1C and ME 1B passive tube equalizers. Softube adds mid/side processing to Classic Channel, which lets you treat center and sides differently on drums or a full mix.

The Tube-Tech Equalizers Mk II cover the Pultec-style tone shaping that the line is known for, on sources such as drums, synths, vocals and bass.

Multiband Compression and Modern Controls

The SMC 2B Multiband Compressor is new in this collection. It is a three-band opto compressor, and Softube positions it for dynamic processing on mix buses and vocal, drum and bass buses.

The CL 1B Mk II adds side-chain low-cut filters and a parallel blend control compared with the original design. These controls help when you want compression to focus on specific frequencies or to blend with the dry signal.
