Tube-Tech Complete Collection 2: Softube Channel Strip and EQ Bundle

The bundle centers on the CL 1B optical compressor, which Softube says brings warmth through its tube stages, a quick attack and smooth, musical levelling through the slow reset of its gain reduction element. The Classic Channel Mk II combines both generations of the CL 1B with the PE 1C and ME 1B passive tube-driven equalizers.

The SMC 2B is described as an emulation of a three-band opto compressor, aimed at dynamic processing tasks, mix buses and vocal, drum and bass buses. The Tube-Tech Equalizers Mk II are Pultec-style EQs intended for analog tone shaping on drums, synths, vocals, guitars, strings and bass.

A Generation Switch lets you toggle between the sound of the Mk I and Mk II versions of CL 1B while using the CL 1B Mk II and Classic Channel Mk II plugins. Modern additions include mid/side processing and, in the CL 1B, side-chain low-cut filters and parallel blend.

Softube notes that the SMC 2B supports stereo processing through linked or selectable Dual Mono operation. The CL 1B Mk II and Equalizers Mk II also work natively as plugins and inside Console 1.
