Sound Architecture and Modulation
The TimewARP 2600 uses three VCOs, each capable of producing audio-rate and low-frequency signals. The low-pass filter supports variable-depth self-oscillation and both audio-rate and LF control modulation.
Modulation sources include a Sample and Hold driven by an internal, external or MIDI beat clock, which can also serve as an LFO source. The LFO outputs provide square, triangle and sine waves, and the square wave can sync to MIDI clock. A noise generator adjustable from white to red noise adds another source to patch in.
