Source material ranges from people whispering in old churches to lamp-tuned crystal movements, giving producers a set of atmospheric beds and sound design sources. Samples run from 30 seconds to more than seven minutes in length.
The patches fall into two groups. The first group has 50 layered instruments built from tuned textures and fields. Loot Audio recommends playing them in the C1 to C3 range, with the keyboard mapped from C0 to C6 and the mod wheel assigned.
The second group has 25 patches of raw field recordings, each looping seamlessly. These are useful when you want the natural character of a recording without added tuning or layering.
Several recordings are unusual. One captures people moving and whispering inside six naturally reverberant old churches in Rome. Another is a long sample of the recording artist slowly breathing underwater. The library also includes close-up fireplace recordings with crackles and rumbles, crystal movements recorded from an old lamp, and the sound of 50-year-old trains moving.
The library is delivered as 1.30 GB of uncompressed 44.1 kHz, 24-bit WAV/NCW files.
