Transient Shaping and Multiband Compression
The transient section shapes the attack and sustain of a track. The main mix control sets the intensity of the effect, while advanced settings cover stereo linking, bandwidth, detection envelope length, and the maximum boost or cut applied to transients or sustain.
The multiband section splits the signal into four bands using subtractive IIR filters, producing a real-time linear phase split. Each band has its own compressor. Developer W. A. Production says the gain reduction is applied with logarithmic attack and release, which it describes as smoothing the compression in an analog-style manner.
