Dynamic EQ Bands and Processing Modes

Nova GE includes six dynamic EQ bands, and each band has its own independent dynamics processing. You can choose downward compression, upward compression, upward expansion or downward expansion, the last of which includes gating. This lets one band act on a single problem frequency while another lifts or tightens a different region.

The plugin is designed to cover several roles. It can work as a parametric equalizer, a dynamic equalizer, a frequency-selective compressor or expander, a multiband compressor or expander, and a wideband compressor or expander. Highpass and lowpass filters on either side of the band section help define the working range.
