Each of the four samplers includes its own filter, envelope, reverse, pan, stereo width and tuning controls. A dedicated texture layer can hold vinyl noise, crackle or your own samples, and the blend layers let you combine these elements into many different tones.

The modulation system is built for movement. Mod envelopes and LFOs can be assigned to almost any control, and the macro system gives visual feedback on which parameters are linked, which helps when you want instant changes to fades or rhythmic effects.

The effects section covers algorithmic and convolution reverb (the convolution reverb accepts custom impulse responses), a stereo delay with filter controls, soft and hard distortion, an 8-bit degrader, a 2-band phaser, a compressor, a gate and an EQ.

The plugin ships with more than 200 factory presets, plus Tapex 1 presets that can be shared. A preset browser and a randomizer help with browsing and finding starting points. A scratch designer adds vinyl scratch effects, and a 4-octave keyboard with a transpose range of ±24 semitones supports playing directly in the interface.
