SynthMaster 3 Player is a stripped-down version of SynthMaster 3 from KV331 Audio, built for tweaking existing presets rather than designing sounds from scratch. It includes all factory presets of SynthMaster One, SynthMaster 2 and SynthMaster 3.
SynthMaster 3 Player is aimed at producers who prefer starting from finished sounds. It loads the full factory libraries of SynthMaster One, SynthMaster 2 and SynthMaster 3, and it goes beyond a simple ROMpler. Layer voice, zone, effect, arpeggiator and sequencer parameters can all be edited, and presets can be loaded into new layers to build multi-layer patches or drum kits. The plugin is available as an AAX plugin for Windows and macOS.
The plugin ships with 4450 factory presets created by a team of sound designers, including Arksun, Bluffmunkey, Brian Transeau, Davide Puxeddu, Francis Preve and Venus Theory, among others.
SynthMaster 3 Player can also load SynthMaster One, SynthMaster 2 and SynthMaster 3 expansions. KV331 Audio lists 58 expansion banks covering a range of genres. Presets in these banks can be previewed inside the plugin, and purchases are made through the In-App Shop.
Two views handle layer editing. Track View covers keyboard zones, velocity zones, voicing, unison, arpeggiator and sequencer parameters across multiple layers. Mix View covers insert effects and effect sends for multiple layers.
Each layer has its own arpeggiator and sequencer. MIDI passes through the sequencer first and then the arpeggiator. Every step can take random values for trigger, hold and slide parameters.
The preset browser filters by product, author, bank, instrument type, attributes, genre, name, release date and favourites.
