SynthMaster 3 Player Upgrade from SynthMaster 2: Preset-Focused Synth Plugin

The player ships with 4,450 factory presets from a list of sound designers, including Arksun, Brian Transeau, Francis Preve, Venus Theory and Yuli Yolo. SynthMaster 3 Player can also load SynthMaster One, SynthMaster 2 and SynthMaster 3 expansions, and there are currently 58 expansion banks covering a range of genres.

The preset browser filters by product, author, bank, instrument type, attributes, styles (genres), preset name, release date or favourites. All factory presets are tagged for Native Kontrol Standard, so they can be browsed inside Komplete Kontrol and Maschine.

Banks can be previewed inside the plugin before loading, which helps when you are looking for a starting point for a particular genre.

Each layer has its own arpeggiator and sequencer. Incoming MIDI passes through the sequencer first and then the arpeggiator. Every step can take random values for trigger, hold and slide parameters, which adds movement to patterns without rebuilding them by hand.

Two views handle layer editing. Track View covers keyboard zones, velocity zones, voicing, unison, arpeggiator and sequencer parameters across multiple layers. Mix View covers insert effects and effect sends for multiple layers.

This layout suits producers who want to shape existing sounds by adjusting how layers respond to the keyboard and how their patterns move.
