Sound Design Architecture and Macro Control
The oscillator is a triangle core run through an asymmetric diode wave-shaping network, with a dual-sine generator adding organic pitch drift. A high-frequency sine modulator applies linear FM directly to the carrier, producing harmonically rich tones.
The granular engine records the dry carrier into a circular buffer and triggers pitch-shifted grains with crossfades. Those grains feed a state-variable filter that sweeps continuously through lowpass, bandpass and highpass curves, followed by a comb filter for metallic, string-like textures.
Two macro hubs drive parameter shifts through M1 and M2 depth sliders on each primary knob. Each macro can affect the filter, granular settings and feedback delay together. The dual LFOs can drive the macros or be mapped to manual morph controls.
