Sound and Character of the Shakuhachi Patches
Stealth Wind sets out to capture a cinematic shakuhachi style associated with film composer James Horner. The main character is stealthy and suited to sneaking or tense scenes, and the library also includes lighter, more traditional ethnic phrases.
The library is not built around long legato articulations. Loot Audio positions it as an ethnic accent for game and film scores, meant to add a cinematic ethno flavor to a track rather than carry it alone.
The patches combine carefully selected recorded phrases with multisampled staccatos and sustains.
