Sound and Guitar Character

UJAM recorded SPARKLE 2 with a customized vintage guitar fitted with single-coil pickups, aiming for the bell-like tone associated with Telecaster, Stratocaster and Jaguar guitars. The instrument includes emulations of hand-picked vintage amps and speaker cabinets, and built-in tone and effect controls let you shape the sound.

The styles range across 60s grit, 70s disco, 80s glam, 90s Britpop, 00s indie and contemporary electronic pop. UJAM says the plugin suits anything from funk-style licks to distorted indie guitar.

Workflow, Stomp Boxes and Finisher FX

SPARKLE 2 offers more than 30 styles and 350 phrases, plus an Instrument mode with newly recorded samples and phrases and an Open Chords feature for extra variety. Choose from 30 stomp box combinations; these are pre-amp, so the amp and speaker section reacts dynamically to your input.

A Finisher knob adds post-amp effects, with 60 multi-FX chains available, for example ambiences.
