The plugin uses single-coil pickup character from a customized vintage guitar, which UJAM describes as a bell-like tone. Its styles cover a range of eras, from 60s grit and 70s disco to 80s glam, 90s britpop, 00s indie and contemporary electronic pop.

UJAM's emulations of vintage amps and speaker cabinets provide the core tone. Thirty stomp box combinations sit before the amp section, so the amp and speaker respond dynamically to your input. The developer says the result suits anything from funk-style lead lines to driving, distorted indie sounds.

Workflow: Phrases, Open Chords and Finisher FX

The library contains more than 350 phrases across its styles, giving you ready-made parts to start a song quickly. An Open Chords feature adds variety to chord voicings.

A Finisher knob applies one of 60 multi-FX chains after the amp, for effects such as ambiences. Tone and effect controls are built into the plugin so you can shape the sound without leaving it.
