Suitcase Electric Piano Sound and Character
The developer describes the sound as a 1973 Suitcase electric piano recreated from a restored original instrument. Two sample sets capture different sides of the piano. The Studio bank provides an unaltered line-out signal, which suits producers who want to process the tone themselves. The Live bank uses the original speaker setup and microphones to capture the cabinet and speaker coloration.
The Pentamorph control lets you move the sound from the classic Suitcase character toward a more complex voice with a single knob, selecting from five main characteristics or any position between them. Sustain resonance, key noise, release and reverse samples can also be adjusted to shape the feel of each note.
