Note-Aware Equalization and Filter Design

The core of Scaler EQ Pro is its patented note-aware processing. Automatic key detection analyzes the music and adapts the EQ to the detected key and scale, and three scale slots let you switch keys and scales within the same project. You can also edit individual scale notes to fine-tune which harmonics are processed.

The filter toolkit combines traditional and musical EQ bands. Tilt, Notch, Peak, Shelf, High/Low Cut and Band-Pass filters are available, along with continuously variable slopes that move between conventional slope values instead of fixed steps. The plugin is minimum-phase and zero-latency, which the developer positions for mixing, tracking and live use.

Dynamics, Mastering and Live Mode

Dedicated Bass and High-Frequency Compressors handle low-end energy and harsh highs, and any band can operate as a dynamic EQ with Threshold, Ratio, Attack and Release controls. Mid/Side processing on every band, Stereo Width, low-frequency Mono and Continuous Gain Match make it applicable on a master channel.

Live Mode lets you boost or cut frequencies by playing MIDI notes. It is polyphonic, so several notes or chords can create several bands at once, with velocity sensitivity and ADSR shaping controlling how each note affects the sound.
