The plugin splits the kick into three controls: Oomph for the body, Click for the attack, and Dry for the original sound. Each can be tweaked and blended separately, so you can add weight without losing the transient or keep the original sample and layer only the parts you need.

Fine-tuning controls give each of the three parameters an extra set of creative options. Boz Digital Labs describes the range as running from subtle enhancement to musical mutation, which makes it useful for both natural drum recordings and electronic kicks.

Triggering is instantaneous, and the developer states there are no phase or flam issues. Selectable trigger modes and high-pass and low-pass filters with selectable sidechain modes let you control which part of the signal is affected.
