Juno Sounds Built From Sampled Hardware
The instrument draws on three Roland synthesizers: the Juno-60, the Juno-106 and the Alpha Juno 2. Each was sampled through a chain of preamps and converters, including Avalon U5, A-Design Reddi, Focusrite ISA428 and Apogee Rosetta 200 units, along with VoVox Cables. The developer describes the result as a multi-oscillator Juno that lets you layer tones, a capability the original hardware did not offer in the same way.
The sample library contains 15,000 samples, which gives the instrument a broad palette of bass tones and chorused pads. Presets range across this material, so you can start from a finished sound and adjust it to fit a track.
