Spring Reverb Tanks and Tone Shaping
Primavera includes six spring tanks. Great British Spring is the cleanest option and suits vocals and other parts that need to sit above the mix. HR12 is a lo-fi tank with little low end, so the initial spring attack stands out. SR202 sounds darker, with prominent beats in the tail, and RE201 is the most versatile, with dense, diffuse tails for many sources. Tubby gives a round, watery dub sound, and Twang draws on the guitar amplifiers that popularized spring reverb.
For tone, a Drive knob adjusts the tube stage, and you can switch between Germanium and Tube saturation modes to add grit to the tail. Built-in EQ filters let you blend or sculpt the reverb.
