How Predictor Turns MIDI Files Into New Ideas
Predictor includes an integrated MIDI library, and you can also load any MIDI file you like. Sampleson says the plugin learns from that material to predict chords, melodies and velocities.
The keyboard is divided into three zones: low (up to F2), mid (F2 to F4) and high (from F4 upward). Predictor estimates the next notes based on the range you play. The same logic applies to the Circles Zone. With a MIDI controller you can play triads in any range, not only the mid zone.
You set the rhythm with your taps and key presses, while Predictor chooses the notes. Your timing defines the groove of each phrase.
