New wavetable tools and sound design options

The update adds a wavetable editor, so you can build and store your own wavetables inside the plugin. Waldorf also includes a Mutator patch randomizer, inspired by the Microwave plugin, which generates new patch variations quickly.

The package includes more than 100 new wavetables created by Wolfgang Palm, along with brand-new factory wavetables. The original Waveterm B factory sample library and the original PPG Wave factory sounds are included as well, giving you a starting point for both classic and new patches.

Features and host integration

PPG Wave 3.V supports up to 256 voices per instance, depending on available CPU power. It offers an 8-part multimode and 8 stereo outputs for routing parts separately in your host.

Most parameters can be automated from your host or controlled by MIDI controller automation, which makes it easier to shape sounds over time within your session.
