01Overview

Origins Vol. 1-5 Bundle focuses on acoustic and plucked instruments from around the world, including sansula, oud, qanun, balalaika and steel tongue drum. Each of the five pairs combines two instruments into interlocked pulses, patterns and arpeggios, while the ten solo instruments can be played on their own. The bundle is built for playing sounds on the fly, with controls designed for a fast workflow.

Solo instruments and coupled pairs

The bundle includes ten solo instruments: Sansula, Steel Tongue Drum, Music Box, Plucked Piano, 12-String Acoustic Guitar, Balalaika, Oud, Qanun, Ukulele and Muted Piano. They are combined into five instrument pairs, so you can use a matched couple for a ready-made texture or a single instrument to shape your own sound.

Each instrument is also available as a separate NKI instrument, which adds flexibility when you need one timbre in a mix.

Multi-Arpeggio-Designer and colour settings

The Multi-Arpeggio-Designer (MAD) is the core of each Origins instrument. Two arpeggiators combine the timbres of the two instruments into interlocking patterns. Sonuscore says the engine is designed to produce a musically meaningful, human-style performance rather than random note placement.

The bundle includes more than 80 MAD presets and numerous rhythm presets. Twelve colour presets add effect settings and impulse responses, and arpeggio designs can be copied between any Origins instrument.

What do I need to use Origins Vol. 1-5 Bundle?
