Odyssey: Circuit-Modelled Analog Synth by AIR Music Technology Free Download

Odyssey is built around two oscillators, an LFO, a sample and hold module and a ring modulator. The filter section offers both high-pass and low-pass filters, and the oscillators and filter are circuit modelled.

For time-based effects, the plugin includes a reproduction of the classic 1970s movable head tape delay. This gives the synth a vintage echo character that sits naturally in the signal chain alongside the oscillators and filters.

The touch interface is designed for hands-on tweaking. Expression pedal, velocity and channel pressure modulation let you shape sound dynamically while you play.

You can set Odyssey to mono, duo-phonic or polyphonic operation, with up to four voices sounding at once. Switching between these modes lets you choose between monophonic lead lines and multi-voice pads.

For performance, AIR also provides a Desktop Player application. It is included with a plugin purchase and works with MIDI controllers connected over USB or Bluetooth. The developer says the interface was designed for ease of use and live playability.

The plugin GUI can be resized between 50% and 200%, and presets can be saved and loaded directly from the plugin toolbar, including in the standalone app.
