Sound Character of the Tape and Analogue Oscillators
The tape sawtooth waves are long sawtooth recordings made for each key on a Roland RE-301 Chorus Echo. Loot Audio says these recordings carry wow, flutter and tape dropouts, which gives them a character similar to a Mellotron.
The saw, square and noise oscillators are recorded directly from a Minimoog. According to the developer, these sound crisper than the taped waveforms, so you can mix the two families depending on whether you want warmth and motion or a cleaner edge.
