Five Voice Banks for Different Styles

MEIKO V3 includes five voice banks, each with a distinct character. DB1 POWER is described as powerful, lively and clear, suited to rock, metal, alternative and dance, with a suggested tempo of 65 to 180 BPM and a range of B2 to F4. DB2 STRAIGHT is a clear and forceful female voice for rock, pop and folk, at 70 to 160 BPM and A2 to E4.

DB3 DARK is a deeper voice aimed at jazz, ballad and folklore, with a range of G2 to C4. DB4 WHISPER is a whispery, sighing voice for ballad, post-rock and electronic music, covering A2 to C4. DB5 ENGLISH provides a natural, solid tone for rock, pop and jazz, at 100 to 130 BPM and B2 to B3.

Checking each bank's recommended range against your melody is the quickest way to pick the right one.

Vocal Editing with Piapro Studio

MEIKO V3 can be edited with Piapro Studio, which the developer describes as a vocal editor for operating and modifying the voice. Piapro Studio works as a VSTi plugin, and Crypton Future Media says it has high compatibility with major music production applications, naming PreSonus Studio One, Ableton Live and Steinberg Cubase.

Piapro Studio also supports Apple Silicon through Rosetta 2 on macOS 11 Big Sur and later when the Piapro Studio updater is applied.
