LVL-01B is the revision B version of Tone Empire's LVL-01, rebuilt from the physical hardware with inspiration from the STA-Level and its GE-6386 tubes. The developer positions it for compression with less distortion on drums, loops, breakbeats, bass, guitars and synths. Its machine learning models are meant to provide a more accurate emulation than circuit modeling, and the plugin includes a fully resizable interface and a set of presets.

LVL-01B runs on Windows and macOS. The macOS requirement is 10.13 or later, with Intel and native M1 support, and the Windows requirement is Windows 10 or later, both 64-bit only.
You need a 64-bit host that supports VST3, AU or AAX, an Intel i3 or AMD Ryzen class processor or equivalent, 2 GB of RAM and 300 MB of hard disk space. The screen resolution should be at least 1024 × 768. M1 Mac users running Logic Pro 10.7.2 or later or Ableton 11.1 should use the M1 installer.
LVL-01B is the revision B version, built by reconfiguring the physical hardware. Tone Empire says owners of LVL-01 who bought before July 17th 2023 can obtain LVL-01B for free by emailing proof of purchase to support.
