Drum Kit Sounds and Presets

The library is built around a named set of drums. The kick is a Mapex Armory 22x18, and the snare section offers three options: a Mapex Black Panther 14x6.5, a Ludwig Black Beauty 14x6.5 and a Mapex Warbird 12x5.5. The toms range from an 8x8 up to a 18x16 Mapex Armory.

The cymbal set includes Sabian and Zildjian models, along with Wuhan splashes and china cymbals and a custom stack. Ugritone includes 14 kit presets, among them Default Kit, Seattle 1991, Thrash 1989 and TRVE KVLT, so you can start from a style close to your song and adjust from there.

Workflow and Sample Loading

KVLT Drums II ships with about 600 MB of content. Beyond the included kits, you can load your own WAV, AIFF or FLAC samples if you want to combine this library with other drums.

The developer says the presets were crafted to give a useful starting point per genre. That makes the library a practical option for producers who want a ready metal kit to shape rather than building one from scratch.
