How the Pitch Freezer Creates Its Sound
When you press a key on your MIDI keyboard, I Wish builds a tiny loop matched to the wavelength of that note. The loop holds the audio at that pitch, so a vocal, a drum beat or even noise becomes a sustained, playable tone.
Because the output depends on both the audio you feed it and the MIDI you play, results vary widely from one source to the next. Polyverse says the plugin can modulate pitch and formant, and it supports pitch-based micro-editing on the fly.
