Drum Grooves and the Juice Control
HOT's drum parts are based on real performances, and the Juice fader determines how far they move toward a processed, sample-like sound. At the natural end, the kit stays close to a live drummer. Moving the fader toward the other end adds the punchy character associated with drum machines.
The developer describes the aim as drums that sit well in a radio-ready mix without the stale, lifeless quality it associates with many electronic drum samples. Both ends of the fader are useful when you want a groove that feels more human or more hard-hitting.
