Sound Character and Patch Versions

Every patch comes in two versions, clean and fragile. The fragile version runs through a custom strip of distortion effects, so you can switch between a polished tone and a dirtier, broken one without rebuilding the sound.

Pads and keys respond to the Mod Wheel with a pulsing motion, which adds movement to sustained parts. Aftertouch controls distortion and EQ enhancement, letting you push the top end further while playing. Loot Audio describes the multis as leading to modern atmospheric territories.

The noisy, delicate top end can be tamed with a Ladder Filter, which is available on the essential interface.

Editing in Kontakt

The library is designed for Kontakt's Edit Mode, reached through the wrench icon at the top left. From there, all parameters and effects sit on one screen, so you can adjust a patch without moving between pages.

A selection of long convolution reverb impulses is included to add space to the atmospheric material. The impulses are meant to complete the library's ambient character, and they can be used on their own with other sounds.
