Fox Echo V2 Upgrade from V1 is aimed at owners of the original Fox Echo who want the newer version. It combines two tape-style echo engines with a three-style chorus and onboard drive and spring reverb controls. Echo and chorus sound design

The plugin has two independent tape-style echo engines, each with its own Time, Repeats and tempo Sync control. Stereo and mid side modes spread repeats across the stereo field, which helps delays sit wide without crowding the center of a mix.

The chorus engine offers Classic, Ensemble and Wild styles, with Depth and Speed controls. A Drive circuit pushes the chorus into more distorted territory, and an onboard Spring reverb adds splash. Safari Audio also lists a two-band Bass and Treble EQ in the processing chain.

Workflow and metering

A Blend control lets you mix processed and dry signal in parallel without a separate send. Smart Gain helps match levels when you switch between settings. A/B compare lets you check two states quickly.

VU metering and a short-term LUFS readout give visual feedback on level. A new oversampling algorithm is included in this version. A/B compare and the new preset system are part of the V2 workflow.
