Fire Strings: Hybrid Cinematic Strings Instrument by Loot Audio

Each sound in Fire Strings has 11 effects that can be controlled together, either randomly or in positive or negative directions, from a single button press. Loot Audio describes the control as unprecedented for an instrument of this type.

Each sequencer has its own speed, step count, direction, offset, fade-in, nudge and loop settings, and includes copy and paste, randomization and built-in presets. You can combine two sound sources, switch between them rhythmically, or build evolving pads with gradual modulation. Eight additional global send and insert effects add further processing options.

The tonal section contains electric violin sustains, tremolos, spectral scrubs, harmonics, trills, microtonal bends and vibrato, covering both traditional and extended playing techniques.

The risers category offers long, tension-building glissandos played with a range of bowing and fingering techniques, suited to building toward climaxes. The rhythmic section includes tonal, tempo-synced electric guitar grooves mapped across several octaves and freely transposable.
