Dr. Fill includes an expanded sound palette with kicks, bongos, congas and percussion, and you can shape fills with snare, tom, crash and variation controls. Fill lengths of ½ bar, 1 bar or 2 bars give you options for short pickups or longer transitions.

The Kit Builder lets you load your own samples, from drum hits and vocal one-shots to bass hits and textures. Dr. Fill detects the sample type automatically and handles key detection for tonal material, so fills stay in tune with your track. Loop Slicer can also chop drum loops into single samples and generate fills from them.

Fills can be dragged and dropped directly into your DAW as audio, or exported as MIDI. You can also trigger Dr. Fill with MIDI input, which helps when you want it to respond to your own performance or sequencing.

Timing and velocity are humanized, so the output avoids the rigid feel of a grid-locked fill. Pattern Lock is useful when you want to keep the rhythm steady while swapping sounds or variations.
