Modular Vocal Processing for Creature and Dialogue Design

Dehumaniser 2 uses a node-based system that shows the layout of audio routings clearly. Each node can be used up to two times, so you can run several pitch shifters, granular processors or convolution stages in one signal path.

The plugin offers 10 modules, including Pitch Shifter, Granular, Noise Generator, Scrubbing Convolution, Vocoder and Ring Modulation. Dynamic effects can respond to the input through peak level, RMS level, energy difference or pitch tracking.

Presets, Sample Triggers and Workflow

The factory library includes over 100 presets and 133 animal recordings, among them tigers, leopards, pigs and parrots. Samples can be triggered from amplitude, pitch or audio descriptors using the Sample Trigger module or the Scrubbing Convolution module.

Dehumaniser 2 supports MIDI control with assign and recall, and hundreds of parameters can be automated. Multiple instances can run on different tracks or buses within your session.
