Damage Rock Grooves is a drum loop library from Heavyocity that focuses on aggressive, hard-hitting rock rhythms. Drum Sound and Groove Library

Heavyocity says the grooves were built around the Damage Drum Kit, a set of drum sounds it describes as naturally explosive and suited to heavy rock. The library contains over 760 grooves. Of these, 192 full loops include three stems: Low, Mid and High.

The grooves are split into Heavy Grooves and Clean Grooves. A set of Damage Grooves snapshots is organized to match the bank names in Damage Guitars, so you can pair a drum loop with a matching riff. The library also includes 43 custom-designed presets and 27 curated groove presets.

Workflow and Controls

The Damage 2 Loop Designer lets you stack, mangle and tweak loops. Each individual loop can receive modulation and effects through a Send FX layer. The Customizable Groove Playback Engine and the browser, which loads 750+ sources in octave banks or as individual sounds, are designed to speed up auditioning.

The Punish knob has been redesigned with three settings: Gently Now, Hurt Me Plenty and Nightmare. A Customizable Master FX chain is included for processing the full output.
