Damage Guitars is built around heavy electric guitar tones, clean guitars and matching bass parts, all recorded from a range of guitars and amplifiers and processed through Heavyocity's signal chain. Guitar and Bass Tones for Heavy Production

The developer says the guitar tones were recorded from several custom-shop electric guitars, including Gibson, PRS, Fender, Jackson and Ernie Ball models. The signals were run through a mix of guitar pedals and five tube amplifiers before being processed in Heavyocity's own chain.

Bass parts were recorded to match each guitar riff, so you can layer guitar and bass material that already fits together. The collection includes 468 tempo-synced guitar riffs and effects and 192 tempo-synced bass riffs, which makes it practical for cues that need a consistent rhythmic foundation.

Workflow, Browser and Controls

The instrument includes 117 custom-designed presets across two engines. The presets cover three keys of riffs (D, A and F#), and an intuitive browser lets you load sources into three banks.

A MACRO knob gives dynamic control over several parameters at once, which helps when you want to shape a riff or transition during a performance or while automating a cue. The library also includes 288 guitar transitions and riff bits and 240 bass transitions and riff bits for building longer phrases.
