Damage Drum Kit is a sample-based drum instrument from Heavyocity that runs inside Kontakt. It is built on the Damage 2 engine and includes 23,840 samples across roughly 24 GB of content. Kit, Ensemble and Loop Designers

The instrument is organized into three workflows. Kit Designer provides a 16-voice drum kit layout with 25 starting kits, an intuitive browser for loading sources onto each key, and independent FX chains for every voice, including compression, reverb and saturation.

Ensemble Designer loads 120 or more sources in octave banks and individual sounds. It offers instant 3D positioning, five discrete mic positions (Close, Room, Hall, LFE and analog CRUSH), and a MIDI Performance Tool for patterns, rolls and crescendos. Its redesigned Punish knob has three flavors: Gently Now, Hurt Me Plenty and Nightmare.

Drum Sounds and Loop Library

The kit includes three snares, two kicks, four toms, and eight cymbals, recorded with multiple layers of dynamic variation and processed through Heavyocity's signal chain. The package also lists 120 drum articulations and 60 custom presets.

Loop Designer contains 288 loops, split into 144 straight and 144 triplet grooves, with 72 loops including four stems each. Modulation and effects can be added to individual loops through the Send FX layer.
