Chromed Loyalty Upgrade from any UJAM product is offered to owners of UJAM titles. Beatmaker CHROMED is a virtual drum instrument aimed at hyperpop, glitchcore and fast electronic styles. It includes 10 drum kits, 160 unique instrument samples, 20 styles and 460 MIDI loops, plus 12 Multi-FX mix modes. The developer, UJAM, designed it with BABii and Derek von Krogh. Any current Beatmaker purchase or upgrade also updates your owned Beatmaker titles to the new plugin.

Sound, Kits and Mix Modes in Beatmaker CHROMED

UJAM describes Beatmaker CHROMED as built for loud, distorted and rhythmically unconventional drums. The plugin ships with 10 drum kits and 160 unique instrument samples, so you can start from a kit and reshape the sound from there.

The Advanced Mixing page gives per-track control over volume, pan, filter, ambience and saturation, with individual output routing inside the plugin. Twelve Multi-FX mix modes add further processing options for shaping the drum sound.

Each Beatmaker title also includes multiple mix presets matched to its genre, which can be applied with a single click.

Workflow, Loops and Browsing

The Intelligent Browser lets you filter beats by mood, genre or BPM and preview kits and loops, including from titles you do not own. The library holds 20 styles with 460 MIDI loops in total.

A custom keyboard layout lets you assign loops and phrases to keys for real-time performance and arrangement. MIDI can be dragged from the plugin into your DAW for editing or layering with your own instruments.

The Sample Selection view shows individual hits such as kick, snare and hi-hat in a grid, where you can swap, preview and shape each one.
