01Overview

Celestial Harp is a sampled Celtic harp built for Native Instruments Kontakt. Its plucks are described as warm and soft, while full strums sound lush and enveloping. The Glow slider adds a particle effect that blends the harp into a soothing, airy pad, and controls for speed and dynamic range shape that texture. The instrument suits fantasy and folk-influenced scoring, and it is a compact alternative to a full classical harp.

Sound, Articulations and the Glow Effect

The instrument combines two recorded articulations: a Natural layer for plucked tones and a Harmonic layer captured with the flageolet technique. Balancing the two lets you move between a straight pluck and one with more shimmer.

The Glow particle effect is the main character tool. Sonuscore presents it as a way to turn the sound into an atmospheric pad. Adjusting the speed and dynamic range of the particle effect changes how much of the pad comes through.

Controls, Delay and Reverb for Harp Parts

Attack, Release, Dynamic Range and Mix knobs let you shape the envelope and the balance of the sound. Three delay types are included: Vintage at quarter notes, Modern at eighth notes and Tape at dotted eighth notes.

Three reverb types, Room, Hall and Dream, cover everything from intimate spaces to wide, washed-out tails. Ten color presets are included as starting points.
