Sound Shaping and Kit Control

The Kit Designer loads a custom Allegra drum kit with individual source controls on every voice. You can adjust volume, pan, individual microphone positions and effects for each source, so you can build a mix from the kit up rather than relying on a single processed kit sound.

Velocity also changes tone. The library includes eight round robins per voice and 10 dynamic layers, and the developer notes that velocity shifts the tone and character of each hit, not only its level. That keeps repeated patterns from sounding identical.

Loops, Ensemble Placement and Workflow

The Loop Designer lets you stack up to three independent loop layers. The library contains 72 tempo-synced, beat-sliced patterns that can be mixed and matched to build grooves quickly.
