BRAAASS splits its sound into two sections. Low Brass covers tubas and bass trombones, while High Brass covers trumpets and horns. A Crossfade slider blends the two, so you can move from a heavy low-end foundation to brighter upper voices within one performance.

Each section has its own Character and Motion FX controls. These let you shape the tone of each layer separately, which is useful when you want a dark bass brass line under a brighter fanfare or a mix that changes over the course of a cue.

The instrument includes 78 playing Styles. Each Style offers six phrases and four one-shot Additions, covering swelling crescendos as well as rhythmic accents. The phrase-based approach means you can build parts from ready-made brass patterns rather than programming every note.

The Finisher section holds more than 250 presets for sound design. Presets range from subtle reverb and delay for a cinematic feel to experimental effects that change the character of the brass. This section is a good starting point if you want to move beyond standard orchestral brass tones.
